The Nautical Club of Ribadeo founded on 22 August 1974 (after another attempt earlier), currently has 800 members and over 350 boats.

The services and activities that the Club Náutico de Ribadeo offers and performs throughout the year are very diverse, although its main activity is developing in the summer months.

It currently has sections sailing and diving. The latest is the new section dedicated to fishing.
Each of these sections and Cursillos periodically organizes courses and throughout the year.

The Nautical Club since its inception was a society deeply rooted in ribadenses and always sought and continues to seek that Ribadeo Unite definitely the lagoon and the sea, who for reasons of topography and development has been at times turning his back.

From the nineties came the launch of the Club and its adaptation to new requirements that have already assumed a number of partners and vessels that required more and better services.

Slowly but steadily, been increasing the services and facilities as well as the activities, becoming the most important club in the area of the Cantabrian coast, with currently 800 members and over 400 boats.
