St. Vincent de Covelo belongs to the Ribadeo Arciprestazgo and in 1991 had 503 inhabitants, which resulted in nearly 40 inhabitants per Km2.

This is the village which occupies the central zone. the second is the extent, as it has 14.325 km ². In Covelo, Arante You Vilaosende and concentrates most of the agricultural and livestock production in the municipality.

It limits the north with Vilaframil and partly to the northeast of Pine, east, most are in contact with Ove, except for the Southeast that is Vilaosende, with the river as large separation. To the south, the same river and the river separates Cedofeita Lexos Arante of the southwest, the rest occupying the border with the parish Devesa.

In this parish is the highest point of the city, Mount Mondigo at 571 meters high which is located a good number of repeaters of TV, radio and communications.
